Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, following safety procedures and infection control guidelines.

You will interact positively with residents and staff, document activities, and report maintenance needs. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and perform routine tasks daily.
• Residency within service area required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following established safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
