Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking an Assistant Administrator to oversee internal operations under the Administrator’s direction. The role requires ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards and facility policies, while managing staff and quality of care.

Candidates should have high school education or equivalent, with preference for college education or licensed nursing; strong English communication and supervisory abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; college education or licensed nurse preferred.
• Knowledge of Long-Term Care preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak English clearly and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work with residents, families, staff and public with tact.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Leadership and supervisory ability and teamwork across personnel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct facility programs and activities.
• Ensure procedures follow established policies.
• Supervise staff and provide in-service training.
• Identify problems and develop solutions with Alden Management Services.
• Ensure quality care is rendered to residents.
• Handle admissions paperwork and liaison with hospitals or other facilities.
• Represent the facility to clients, hospitals, and community agencies.
• Provide direction in Administrator's absence.
