Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus and ensure quality, taste, and presentation meet our standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior cooking experience preferred, ability to follow dietary restrictions, and certification as ServSafe or Food Handler as required by state law. Residency in the service area may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cook or food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
