Job summary

Samsara is hiring an Onsite Business Technology Support Specialist I to join our London IT team. You’ll help users stay online by troubleshooting tech issues, provisioning laptops and peripherals, and managing system access.

This in-office role requires 5 days per week in our London office and UK business hours. You’ll work with enterprise SaaS tools, improve IT processes, and grow within a fast-moving, globally expanding company that values customer focus and long-term thinking.

Qualifications

• College degree in a technical program or 4 years relevant experience.
• 2+ years in help desk or technical support.
• 1+ year of onsite IT support experience.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Availability 8:00–17:00 UK time with occasional off-hours.

Responsibilities

• Resolve tech problems for London office and remote users.
• Manage a ticket queue and identify process improvements.
• Onboard new hires: order laptops, peripherals, and manage access.
• Support hardware recovery and asset management.
• Manage office endpoints (printers, laptops, conferencing equipment).
• Manage employee access to Samsara's cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT specialists on projects, upgrades, and scripting.
• Document IT policies and procedures.
• Escalate and coordinate with adjacent teams.
• Drive core operations to keep the company secure and productive.
• Deploy and manage systems for collaboration and scale.
• Plan and integrate tools and services for workplaces.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles in a global context.
