Job summary

Exa, based in London, is seeking a hands-on Field Engineering leader to build and run the EMEA function. You will hire, coach and champion Solutions Architects and Forward Deployed Engineers, and you’ll stay technically active on key deals while shaping regional growth and customer success.

You will travel across EMEA and to our San Francisco HQ, guiding technical wins and post-sales execution, with a strong emphasis on revenue-driven impact and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as solutions architecture, sales engineering, technical consulting or forward deployed engineering
• ≥2 years leading teams, ideally at an AI-native or developer-first company
• Proven track record of winning technical evaluations and getting customers live after the sale
• Experience building a regional team or launching a new region from an early stage
• Clear communication with CTOs, engineers and executives across markets
• Willingness to travel across EMEA and to San Francisco HQ

Responsibilities

• Build Field Engineering in EMEA by hiring, onboarding and leading SAs and FDEs
• Own the technical win on new business in EMEA in partnership with regional sales leaders
• Own post-sales technical success: onboarding to production, adoption, growth and churn risk management
• Stay hands-on with discovery, demos, POCs and critical customer integrations
• Generate pipeline with Marketing in EMEA through webinars, content, events
• Run the global operating model locally: handoffs, reviews, escalations and feedback loops
• Represent EMEA customers in product/roadmap discussions and prioritize gaps by revenue impact
