Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. in Laurel, MD is seeking a Work Flow Coordinator to manage daily warehouse operations, inventory, and inbound/outbound analysis using IMREX and SAP. The role requires a high school diploma with preferred associate degree or higher, plus experience in logistics, labor planning, and mentoring peers. On-site position with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Associate’s degree or higher education preferred and/or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Logistics Operations environment preferred.
• Experience with labor planning and assets (forklifts, sit-downs, etc.).
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (IMREX & AS400) and SAP is preferred.
• Experience in training and mentoring peers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations by assigning workload via IMREX/VAP/Warehouse Management System for inventory, IB and OB functions.
• Utilize yard management system to arrange trailer moves and align to doors for shipping/receiving.
• Perform periodic audits on bill of lading, ICC and quality; file BOLs at end of shift/day.
• Communicate requirements and status clearly to team to meet daily objectives.
• Resolve flow issues and address problems to minimize downtime and maintain operations.
• Compile daily workload reports and monitor past-due carriers for outbound appointments.
• Ensure procedures are followed by frontline employees and internal/external sources.
• Support inventory control and various projects; participate in continuous improvement.
• Attend mandatory training sessions; support fill rate and order management.
• Assist with front gate security and site-specific requirements.
