Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. is seeking an Operational Buyer to translate production plans into supplier orders for raw and packaging materials.

This on-site role supports the Laurel, MD site and collaborates with planning, production, QA and logistics teams to ensure materials are available when needed. Strong Excel, supplier management and order-to-payment capabilities are essential, with FMCG experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Operate between Bakersfield and Laurel to support production planning.
• Monitor demand and supply signals; manage lead times and quantities; create purchase orders.
• Ensure materials are available for production dates; adjust delivery schedules with planning team.
• Provide forecast/POs to suppliers for 3–12 months ahead.
• Maintain stock levels and monitor daily/weekly reports for discrepancies.
• Liaise with warehouse, production, QA on material changes.
