Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is seeking a Supply Planning Manager in Laurel, MD to oversee the assigned area of the supply plan. You will replenish products, align plans with partners, and provide short-term, capacity, and long-term production plans based on available resources.

You will lead 12-week production planning, coordinate with multiple functions, and continuously improve plan quality and reliability to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply planning or manufacturing planning.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Ability to lead planning processes with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create a feasible supply plan within the plan period considering capacity, labor, and materials.
• Lead planning meetings and document minutes via email.
• Develop a 12-week production plan with minimal changeovers and downtime.
• Maintain up-to-date systems reflecting demand changes and impacts.
• Identify risks and opportunities in the plan and propose mitigations.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Quality, NPD and Finance.
• Report KPIs and performance gaps to Senior Management with actionable insights.
• Ensure KPI cascading to drive ownership across the organization.
