Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries is seeking an Operations Assistant Manager to oversee the movement, distribution, and storage of materials, ensuring timely delivery to stores and vendors, while managing transportation logistics, vehicles, and equipment. This role focuses on safety and operational efficiency in the absence of the Operations Manager.

The position includes supervising staff, planning warehouse operations, and coordinating with the Director of Operations to meet daily objectives

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screen.
• Criminal background check required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle report.
• Must be willing to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Logistics and Transportation Management.
• Manage driver times and schedules in line with contracts.
• Oversee warehouse and inventory management.
• Ensure daily vehicle inspections and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with Aftermarket Manager on transportation needs.
• Complete purchase orders and supervise staff when needed.
