Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of North Louisiana Inc is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with leadership to drive store operations and support the annual operating plan. In the Store Manager’s absence, you will directly make decisions affecting customers, staff, and daily operations while promoting Goodwill’s mission to help people prepare for, find, and keep jobs.

The role requires supervisory experience or two years of related education/experience, a valid driver’s license and a vehicle, and

Qualifications

• Two years of post-secondary education or equivalent plus one year supervisory experience.
• Or high school diploma and two years experience in sales/retail with one year supervisory.
• Must have a private vehicle and valid license.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within three months if required.
• Background screening will be completed as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the Store Manager, makes decisions on customers, staff and operational issues.
• Execute store operating objectives aligned with the annual plan.
• Support Goodwill’s mission to help people prepare for, find, and keep jobs.
