Job summary

Meador Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Operations Coordinator to provide operational support for warehouse projects, loadouts, transloading operations, inventory staging and transportation scheduling in the Houston area.

The role acts as the main liaison between customers, warehouse personnel, carriers, and internal teams to move projects from planning to delivery, requiring 3+ years in logistics/warehousing or related fields and strong knowledge of freight movements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing or Project Management.
• Strong understanding of freight transportation and warehouse operations.
• Bilingual is a huge plus!

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound project shipments with customers and warehouse vendors.
• Create shipment schedules and loadout plans by truck and date.
• Manage staging requirements and ensure freight is pulled, identified, and staged before pickup.
• Communicate daily loading schedules to warehouse personnel and carriers.
• Track basket numbers, inventory identifiers, pipe numbers, and project-specific equipment.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel regarding readiness status and staging completion.
• Obtain and distribute loading paperwork, signed documents, and driver information.
• Monitor pickup times and carrier appointments.
• Follow up on missing documentation and project deliverables.
• Ensure same-day delivery projects remain on schedule.
• Manage customer communication and status reporting.
• Coordinate transloading, structural steel projects, warehouse labor, unloads, and loadouts.
