Job summary

Kovalus Separation Solutions is seeking a proactive Logistics Specialist to coordinate domestic and international logistics, ensure on-time delivery, and manage customs-related processes in a manufacturing setting.

You will analyze logistics data, optimize material flow, work with brokers and carriers under IMMEX regulations, and support inventory control while communicating in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, SCM, IB, or related field.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing logistics experience.
• Proven experience managing US–Mexico cross-border logistics and customs.
• Experience with IMMEX requirements and Mexican trade docs.
• Advanced English and Spanish proficiency (written and verbal).
• Strong Excel, data analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments between Mexico and the US.

Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support our manufacturing operations through effective coordination of domestic and international logistics activities. This role will be responsible for shipment coordination, customs-related processes, inventory flow, and ensuring on-time delivery of materials and finished goods.

The ideal candidate must have experience in manufacturing logistics, customs operations, and strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel usage.

Location

Wilmington, MA. Option of onsite, hybrid, or fully remote work.

Employment Details

Full-Time, Non-Exempt (hourly). Compensation: $29.00–$31.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound shipments of raw materials and finished goods between Mexico and the United States.
• Monitor transportation schedules and ensure timely delivery to customers and production operations.
• Execute and monitor import/export transactions under IMMEX regulations, ensuring compliance with customs, trade, and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely clearance of shipments and resolution of customs-related issues.
• Prepare, validate, and maintain import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Pedimentos, and related customs records to support audit readiness and compliance.
• Support production operations by ensuring material availability, tracking inventory movements, and optimizing material flow.
• Analyze logistics performance data, generate reports, and support initiatives focused on cost reduction, process efficiency, and inventory control.
• Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, customs holds, and logistics-related issues impacting operational performance.

• Experience with IMMEX program requirements, Mexican customs regulations, and international trade documentation.
• Advanced English and Spanish proficiency (written and verbal); ability to operate effectively in a bilingual environment.
• Strong Excel, data analysis, and reporting skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and logistics software.

• Valid U.S. visa or ability to travel to the United States as business needs require.

Physical Requirements

• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and be in proximity to loud equipment.
• Lift and carry or otherwise move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
