Job summary

General Mills' Buffalo plant is hiring a Logistics Technician – Fork Truck Driver. The 8-hour swing shifts rotate weekly, with starting pay of $30.15/hour and additional pay for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Location offers access to major cities and career growth through bidding and apprenticeship programs. As a member of the manufacturing team, you will load/unload trucks and railcars, perform required safety checks, operate the Warehouse Management System, and maintain clean loading areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of warehouse/forklift experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• English communication with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and railcars safely and efficiently.
• Perform metal detector, magnet checks and safety inspections.
• Operate Warehouse Management System and maintain required paperwork.
• Sanitation and cleaning of loading areas and equipment.
• Assist training of new employees and support other plant areas.
