Job summary

ID Logistics seeks a Team Leader to manage and organize their team, ensuring quality and safety in all activities while aligning with customer specifications. The role involves planning, coaching, and process improvement to meet objectives and performance standards.

The position emphasizes leadership, communication, and the ability to adapt to volume forecasts, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A-level to 2 years of higher education or equivalent.
• Training in transport, logistics and management.
• At least 1 year of team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages, and controls teamwork, defines clear rules with clear objectives and expectations.
• Communicates road map and final goals, knows team members and their motivations to inspire them by showing usefulness of their work and making it rewarding.
• Sets up regular communication/monitoring/measurement of activity and objectives of their area.
• Encourages and supports the team with feedback (recognition, improvement). Ensures employees are at the expected level and provides training as required.
• Promotes and supports process improvement, internal innovation programs and encourages collaboration.
• Scales the workforce and equipment according to volume forecasts to meet performance requirements; prioritizes operations and provides supervision.
• Maintains regular communication with the customer and coordinates execution of specific requirements.
• Knows and applies ID Logistics health and safety rules and procedures locally.
• Audits and quality management: organizes workplace per sector objectives and responds to audits.
• Provides and monitors KPIs, ensures continuity of information between team, hierarchy and partners.
• Analyzes deviations between planned and actual values and initiates corrective actions with operations management.
• Other duties as assigned.
