Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 1+ year of professional experience in a team leadership function.
• Training in transport, logistics and management.

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages, and controls teamwork with clear rules, objectives and expectations.
• Communicates road map and final goals; knows team members and motivates them by showing usefulness of their work.
• Sets up periodic communication/monitoring/measurement of activity and objectives.
• Encourages and supports the team with feedback and recognition; provides training as required.
• Promotes process improvement and internal innovation; encourages collaboration.
• Scales the workforce and equipment according to volume forecasts and priorities operations.
• Maintains regular communication with the customer and coordinates specific requirements.
• Applies health and safety rules; analyzes equipment checklists and ensures corrective actions.
• Audits and manages workplace according to sector objectives and certifications.
• Provides and monitors KPIs; communicates deviations and initiates corrective actions.
