Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor Logistics to oversee daily logistics operations, coach staff, and drive process improvements. The role requires coordinating with the Logistics Manager, managing shifts, and ensuring KPI attainment while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will lead a diverse team, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions as needed in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Formación

• H.S. diploma or GED is required.
• One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• 0 to one year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review all logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet company standards and customer service specs.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate activities to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI and performance; monitor progress and coach staff.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Conduct regular team and individual meetings to track progress and recognition.
• Promote diversity and inclusion; seek opportunities to improve processes.
• Carry out performance evaluations and recommendations for merit increases.
• Address performance issues following corrective actions and labor relations rules.
