Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a supervisor to direct account workflow and lead staff per client SOPs in a fast-paced logistics environment in Texas. You will resolve issues with customs, carriers, and internal teams, while monitoring entry processing and financial discrepancies.

Strong communication and planning skills are essential for success. The role emphasizes team productivity, training, and performance reviews, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and compliance across ocean

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Strong written/oral communication, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Responsibilities

• Directing workflow of the employees within the account
• Leads team per client SOPs
• Monitors Entry Status Report and reviews rejected entries and Post Entry Work
• Coordinates with Export/Import Supervisor to properly resolve issues
• Assists team members in resolving issues with Customs, OGA, and Carriers
• Monitors AP/AR discrepancies and addresses accounting issues
• Assists in the enforcement of Ocean Export Policies and Procedures
• Directs employee teams, including maximizing team productivity, tracking labor hours, training staff, and performance reviews
