Job summary

GEODIS USA, LLC is seeking a logistics professional to handle shipments, coordinate schedules, and track shipments with global carriers. The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and timely processing of bookings and invoices.

You will work closely with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure efficient logistics operations, including cargo bookings and response to inquiries. The position requires basic MS Office proficiency and a willingness to work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in importation of goods or related field preferred.
• PC literate with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle shipments and ensure profitability.
• Establish task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments.
• Coordinate shipping details with origin agent.
• Track and trace incoming shipments with airlines and other carriers.
• Negotiate pricing with Ocean/Agent/Ground Carrier/Steamship/Airlines.
