Job summary

AUTOKINITON Plymouth is seeking a warehouse leader to drive efficiency and ensure inventory control at our Plymouth, MI facility. You will lead the warehouse team, coordinate shipping and receiving, and partner with HR and Materials to meet budget and production goals.

Responsibilities include guiding training, ensuring adherence to procedures, and implementing root-cause analysis and Kaizen-style improvements to sustain optimal operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum six years in shipping/receiving and/or warehouse management, with at least one year in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership to department colleagues in line with plant goals.
• Coordinate and communicate within the department to ensure accountability and discipline.
• Maintain maximum production utilization and efficiency through effective planning.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Oversee warehouse activities and coordinate shipping docks to support plant operations.
