Job summary

AUTOKINITON's Plymouth, Michigan plant is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, drive safety and reliability, and meet production goals. This full-time role reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires strong leadership, problem solving, and hands-on supervision.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or substantial experience, with several years in maintenance supervision, and will oversee safety, quality, and delivery in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Science in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred or eight years of work experience.
• Minimum of six years as a maintenance supervisor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance department safety, quality, production and delivery objectives in his/her area of responsibility.
• Provide proactive leadership necessary to achieve and maintain a continuous improvement mindset for the team.
• Communicate and prioritize daily work assignments to the team.
• Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (e.g. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.).
• Responsible for ensuring the entire team has the necessary tools and materials to properly perform their roles safely and efficiently.

This full-time, salary, role is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Manager.

SUCCESS FACTORS:

• Bachelors Degree in Applied Science in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred or eight (8) years of work experience.
• Minimum of six (6) years as a maintenance supervisor preferred.
