Job summary

AUTOKINITON is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Plymouth, Michigan to lead the maintenance team and drive safety, quality, and on‑time production. This full‑time role reports to the Maintenance Manager and supports a range of manufacturing operations in a highly integrated automotive environment.

The role emphasizes proactive leadership for continuous improvement, team daily planning, and ensuring tools and materials are available to perform work safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred or eight (8) years of work experience.
• Minimum of six (6) years as a maintenance supervisor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance department safety, quality, production and delivery objectives in his/her area.
• Provide the proactive leadership necessary to achieve and maintain a continuous improvement mind set for the team.
• Communicate and prioritize daily work assignments to the team.
• Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.)
• Responsible for ensuring the entire team has the necessary tools and materials to properly perform their roles safely and efficiently.
