Job summary

IRISS, Inc. in Bradenton, FL is seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to lead daily shipment execution and ensure orders are picked, packed, documented, and dispatched on time.

You will coordinate with planning, production, quality, warehouse, sales, and freight providers to improve shipment accuracy, delivery reliability, and carrier performance, while leading a small team and enforcing safe, standard work.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or degree in logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related field, or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with customer shipment planning, freight coordination, packaging, picking and packing, shipment documentation, and issue resolution.
• Competent in coordinating with multiple functions to meet delivery priorities.

Responsibilities

• Daily Customer Shipment Planning and Execution: prepare and maintain a daily shipment plan with order lines, quantities, deadlines, and carriers.
• Coordinate picking, packing, staging, and dispatch to meet the plan and resolve blockers before cutoffs.
• Lead daily shipment readiness reviews and track progress; escalate missed shipments with recovery actions and dates.
• Upstream Coordination: secure packaging readiness, material availability, and inspection release for scheduled shipments.
