Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor in Coatesville, PA to supervise scheduling of trucks, drivers, and loads while ensuring DOT compliance and company policies.

You will coordinate with sales and production, manage carrier relationships, and handle freight billing and supplier communications. The role requires a minimum of two years in a similar supervisory or production-management position and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Production Manager or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervises scheduling of outbound and inbound loads and coordinates with sales and production.
• Coordinates loading with S/R personnel and sets up loads with outside freight carriers.
• Ensures DOT regulations and company rules are followed in transportation processes.
• Audits freight bills and resolves transport issues in collaboration with sales and management.
• Documents shortages, investigates causes, and liaises with carriers for resolution.
• Maintains data in the data system and prepares required reports.
