Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in shipping & receiving or related areas.
• Familiarity with DOT concepts, regulations, practices & procedures.
• Knowledge of proper loading techniques, weight limits and company procedures.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of lumber math, grades and species.
• Forklift driver licensing/ certification completed.
• Preferred understanding of company policies, practices & procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule outbound loads with sales and production.
• Determine loading order and placement of product.
• Verify shipping documents and record discrepancies.
• Arrange shipments with outside freight carriers.
