Job summary

Valeo in Seymour, Indiana, seeks a Physical Flows Manager/Supervisor for Site Supply Chain. You will induct newcomers, analyze logistics needs, monitor certification, manage absenteeism, safety rules, and performance boards.

You will lead weekly safety briefings and coordinate with support departments to resolve issues in logistics and production areas, reporting to the Site SCM. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, excellent communication, and at least 3 years of supervisory or logistics

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Knowledge and demonstrated experience in lieu of education required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and a high degree of flexibility, plus strong computer skills.
Minimum of 3 years supervisory/management experience in automotive or a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 3 years in logistics operations, preferably at an automotive lighting manufacturer.

Responsibilities

Induct newcomers in the site perimeter (temporary employees included).
Analyze flexibility and multi-skills needs of the logistic area and define training plans to develop team autonomy.
Monitor the certification process for each operator and update in real time flexibility grid.
Manage daily situations: absenteeism, holidays, safety rules enforcement, environment risk analysis, and performance boards.
