Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor Logistics to supervise and coordinate daily logistics operations and coach staff toward meeting business objectives. The role emphasizes process improvements, safety, and staff development within a large-scale logistics environment.

You will work under the Logistics Manager, set schedules, review processes, and collaborate with customers to ensure service standards are met while driving team performance and engagement.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• 0 to One (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet company standards and customer service specs.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate activities to optimize shifts and teams.
• Be accountable for site KPI and monitor progress toward objectives.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations and maintain positive labor relations.
