Logistics Supervisor | Utilimaster | Landisville, PA

Type: Regular Employee | Salary Exempt

What you'll do:

As the Logistics Supervisor for Utilimaster (A Shyft Brand) based in Landisville, PA, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, troubleshooting production issues, and designing plant floor layouts to ensure efficient equipment and material placement.

You will work closely with our manufacturing team, practicing daily GEMBA to drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with Operations to develop logistical solutions for tooling and equipment repairs.

1. Supervise Logistics Team Leads and Associates, establishing clear expectations.
2. Oversee administrative functions and promote accountability through servant leadership.
3. Develop innovative logistics, inventory, and materials management processes to enhance productivity.
4. Implement streamlined delivery routes and visual management systems for assembly success.
5. Maintain alignment with customer needs and foster cross-functional relationships.
6. Address material flow issues by applying corrective actions.

What you need to be successful:

• Associate's degree in logistics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a complex materials environment, or 10+ years with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Project management skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft 365, and network applications.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline.
• Reputation for enhancing assembly operations through flexible staffing.
