Description

Title: Logistics Supervisor

Department: Logistics

Reports To: Logistics Manager

About the Role

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee all direct-to-consumer delivery operations in (INSERT LOCATION) and surrounding areas. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will lead a team of logistics coordinators, dispatchers, associates, and drivers to ensure efficient and accurate order delivery. You will serve as the final point of contact between the team and customers, playing a crucial role in delivering a seamless experience. Your responsibilities include collaborating with managers on daily logistics functions, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining accurate operational data.

How You’ll Make a Difference

Your contributions will be vital in ensuring smooth delivery operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing team scheduling, time tracking, and maintaining up-to-date spreadsheets.
• Monitoring driver performance, conducting evaluations, and identifying training needs.
• Implementing and enforcing SOPs and policies.
• Ensuring timely dispatch of routes, communicating delays, and reporting issues to customer service.
• Addressing equipment or team needs collaboratively with management.
• Maintaining accurate data across databases, including Google Suite and fleet software.
• Tracking driver hours, drops, reimbursements, and report cards.
• Participating in safety meetings and ensuring OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

Who You Are

You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in supervising large logistics teams. You excel in problem-solving, decision-making, and maintaining high standards in safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Desired Qualifications:

• At least 2+ years of logistics experience, including supervising large teams; experience in fulfillment warehouses is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Conflict resolution expertise.
• Attention to detail and accountability skills.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Onfleet, and Paycom.
• Valid driver’s license; Class B is a bonus.
• Harassment Training for Supervisors.
• Food Handlers Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).

• Ability to stand, bend, walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Comfortable working in cold environments (38°F) for extended periods.
