Transportation Insight is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess and design logistics solutions for current and prospective clients. You will lead consultative engagements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help price and present multi-mode service offerings.

The role emphasizes business acumen, problem-solving, and strategic thinking to deliver profitable solutions that can be operated by the client organization.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field is required; MBA preferred if not in business.
• 5+ years as a logistics professional in supply chain management.
• Minimum 4 years of complex, consultative solutions experience.
• Direct consulting in transportation, logistics, and/or TMS at C-Suite level.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Transportation Insight's value and core service differentiators.
• Gather client requirements and identify value-based drivers.
• Assess prospects' current supply chain programs and document current state.
• Coordinate assessment processes and timelines with internal teams.
• Understand client systems and objectives to propose the best solution.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop a solutions strategy.
• Facilitate strategy meetings and coordinate internal resources.
• Document future solution concepts for presentations and docs.
• Assist development of competitive pricing strategies.
• Demonstrate technology platforms to help close deals.
• Communicate with prospects and clients across channels and sites.
• Report recommendations to Solutions leadership and stakeholders.
• Support smooth transition from sales to implementation teams.
