Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Receiving Supervisor to oversee scheduling and coordination of trucks and drivers, ensuring DOT compliance and adherence to company policies.

You will manage outbound/inbound loads, coordinate with sales and production, and verify driver logs and related records. Responsibilities include selecting carriers, negotiating rates, scheduling loading times, auditing freight bills, and maintaining accurate data in the system.

Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Production Manager or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate outbound and inbound loads with sales and production.
• Coordinate loading orders with shipping/receiving personnel.
• Set up loads to be shipped by common carrier with outside freight companies.
• Determine transportation mode and select carriers.
• Audit freight bills and file claims for loss or damage.
• Prepare reports and maintain data in the system.
• Ensure DOT compliance and proper documentation.
