Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist with coordinating shipping and receiving tasks within the Supply Chain function. You will prepare documents, pack materials, verify shipments, and record data while coordinating with carriers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

This role involves working with customers, subcontractors, engineers, PMs, and other teams to optimize processes. This position requires physical work and proficiency in Microsoft Office; CBRE offers a comprehensive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
• Physical requirements include stooping, standing, climbing and lifting at least 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of processes, procedures, systems relevant to the job function.
• Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual or complex content concisely.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills including percentages, discounts, and markups.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents and shipping orders; pack, seal, and label materials cost-effectively.
• Examine contents and compare with records to verify outgoing shipments.
• Record shipment data (weight, charges, space, damages) for reporting.
• Contact carrier representatives to arrange shipping and delivery instructions.
• Requisition and store shipping materials; maintain stock records.
• Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, engineers, designers, PMs, sales, shipping and panel shop to ensure on-time on-budget projects.
• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve problems; suggest new techniques.
• Impact own team and related teams; suggest process improvements.
• Support Operations to facilitate efficient workflows.
