Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist with shipping and receiving tasks within the Supply Chain function. You will help coordinate logistics to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.

Key responsibilities include preparing documents, packing, labeling, and verifying shipments, recording shipment data, and coordinating with carriers and internal teams to maintain inventory and smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents and shipping orders. Pack, seal, and label materials for shipping using the most cost effective method of shipping.
• Examine contents and compare with records to verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes.
• Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. Keep records on the use and damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Work closely with customers, subcontractors, engineers, designers, project managers, sales, shipping and receiving and panel shop to help Operations facilitate on-time and on-budget projects.
• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. May recommend new techniques.
• Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related.
• Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.
