Job summary

Riverence Provisions LLC in Idaho is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to plan, schedule, coordinate, and assess loads, routes and backhauls for our distribution network.

This full-time role requires attention to detail, collaboration with warehouse and drivers, knowledge of FMCSA rules, and strong communication to ensure on-time deliveries. Typical hours are 8 AM–5 PM with occasional local travel; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Input order information into truck route load sheets with cases, weights (gross and net), order numbers, BOL and PO numbers, and verify customer delivery information.
• Coordinate with warehouse to obtain sales orders, load sheets, and any changes impacting shipments.
• Notify and schedule deliveries to customers and secondary carriers; communicate delivery dates/times.
• Schedule customer delivery appointments for outbound equipment and customer pickup from processing facility.
• Calculate and initiate pre-invoices per approved tariff schedule for outbound product.
• Approve secondary carrier invoices and verify tariff rates before submitting to Distribution Director.
• Post carrier costs to load sheet to identify excessive freight and cost per pound per customer.
• Review outbound schedules with interstate drivers before regional trips.
• Forecast in advance to maximize product weight capacity and cost-efficient delivery options.
• Coordinate and schedule backhaul opportunities within the distribution network.
• Establish and/or support backhaul customer relationships.
• Update Distribution Manager on scheduling issues affecting timely market deliveries.
• Perform special projects as directed by the Distribution Manager.
• Input and track trip packets, fuel receipts, vacation days, and driver logs for tax purposes.
