Job summary

Riverence Provisions LLC in Idaho is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to plan, schedule, and optimize loads, routes, and backhauls for our distribution network. You will coordinate with the warehouse, drivers, and carriers to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to balance customer needs with transportation efficiency. You will also help manage invoices, driver logs, and load sheets while supporting a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Extensive background in multiple delivery truck scheduling.
• Understanding of FMCSA rules and regulations.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Input order information into truck route load sheets and verify delivery details.
• Coordinate with warehouse on sales orders, load sheets, and carrier changes.
• Notify customers and secondary carriers of deliveries and schedules.
• Schedule customer delivery appointments and outbound equipment pickups.
• Prepare pre-invoices according to tariff schedule.
• Review and approve secondary carrier invoices against tariff rates.
• Track and post cost information and identify freight costs per customer.
• Review outbound schedules with interstate drivers before departure.
• Forecast in advance to maximize capacity and cost efficiency.
• Support backhaul opportunities and maintain carrier relationships.
• Update Distribution Manager on scheduling issues.
• Handle special projects and other duties as directed.
• Maintain trip packets, fuel receipts, vacation days, and driver logs.
• Collaborate with sales to coordinate orders and monitor gross vehicle weight.
• Promote a cooperative team environment.
