Job summary

BM2 Freight Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Logistics Sales Account Representative to join our Chicago Office in Des Plaines, IL.

You will develop, maintain, and grow accounts handed from Business Development Managers and work closely with Carrier Sales to cover customer freight. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of successful book-of-business sales, with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience running a book of business.
• Proven sales, negotiation and closing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with high call volumes in a sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting & Relationship Building: cold calling new customers and developing relationships.
• Prioritize Team Workload: collaborate with Carrier Sales to meet customers’ needs daily.
• Customer Outreach & Load Confirmation: maintain contact to ensure ongoing business.
• TMS Documentation: document all customer interactions after training.
• Communication: stay in constant contact with customers and Carrier Sales.
• Problem Solving: be adaptable and resourceful to resolve issues.
