Job description

C.H. Robinson seeks a Logistics Representative to enhance our TMC team in Wroclaw or Amsterdam. In this role, you'll drive operational excellence, build client relationships, and identify cost-saving opportunities within our global transportation network. Bring your passion for logistics and proactive mindset to deliver exceptional service and drive continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Build relationships with customer contacts to execute day-to-day transportation needs
2. Proactively monitor, manage, and follow up on shipment daily exceptions
3. Manage service failures with transportation service providers and work with customers to resolve any potential issues
4. Identify cost savings opportunities (route guide optimization, order consolidation, lead time compliance, etc.)
5. Provide prompt and professional response to customer's requests for additional information
6. Hit tactical and operational KPI targets (Quality and Productivity Metrics)
7. Manage reconciliation of weekly financial reports
8. Responsible for running and improving reports on daily shipment activities
9. Identify and implement operational efficiency gains
10. Execute and respond to changes submitted by the customer in a timely and accurate manner (notify transportation service providers, reschedule appointments, etc.)
11. Collect, sort, and distribute operational information to the internal team

QUALIFICATIONS

1. 3-5 years of work experience in a similar role (European Logistics) or a university degree in the area of Logistics or Business
2. Fluency in English is a MUST for this role
3. Willingness to create and adhere to process and plan
4. Ability to solve problems in an effective and efficient manner
5. Ability to think creatively and be flexible
6. Ability to work in a stressful, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment
7. Friendly, customer-service attitude
8. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
9. Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
