Job summary

Rural King is hiring a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise for storage, and support accurate inventory processes. You will ensure products are easy to reach, in stock, and properly merchandised in-store per SOPs, using scan guns and computers to document receipts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Proven track record of accuracy and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfort navigating computer systems to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments and prepare merchandise for storage or display.
• Ensure items are in stock, well-distributed, and merchandised per SOPs.
• Maintain accurate receiving documentation using scanners and computer systems.
• Monitor shortages and discrepancies and communicate with the team.
• Support inventory management and transfers between stores and DCs.
• Assist in cross-training and participate in training programs.
