Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise, set up displays, and ensure stock is accessible and accurately stored.

You will follow SOPs for apparel receiving, manage paperwork, and support inventory, transfers, and store operations while upholding Rural King's values. A minimum of 1 year receiving experience is preferred, with comfort using computer systems and equipment like forklifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt quickly.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments; prepare merchandise and set up displays.
• Ensure stock is easy to reach, in stock, and properly stored.
• Follow SOPs for apparel receiving and merchandising.
• Process purchase orders using scan guns and software; document receipt accurately.
• Monitor shortages and discrepancies; file receiving paperwork daily.
• Support inventory management, store transfers, and UPS shipments as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization; operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Assist the management team with merchandise tracking and stock levels.
