Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise for storage or movement to the sales floor, and maintain optimal stock levels. You will ensure products are easy to reach and accurately merchandised, following SOPs for apparel Receiving.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and comfort with scan guns and computer-based systems to document receipts and manage inventory.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise for storage or sales floor.
• Maintain stock levels and accurate merchandising across displays and racks.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and processing apparel within the store.
• Use scan guns and computer-based software to document receipts accurately.
• Assist in store-to-store transfers, shipping, and receiving with proper records.
