Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Coordinator (Operations Administration) to support Project Managers and Accounting Supervisors on storage, transportation, and rigging jobs for key accounts. You will help keep inventory accurate and prepare detailed invoice backups.

Responsibilities include coordinating with warehouse teams, auditing data, assisting in job cost tracking, logging equipment locations, and ensuring timely documentation and billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, project management or related field preferred.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a Project Coordinator in logistics/supply chain, construction, rigging, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with equipment tracking management and inventory recordkeeping.
• Intermediate computer skills using a Windows-based system.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with CRM and project management tools.
• Excellent team-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical skills to explain data-driven information to staff.
• Organized, deadline-driven, and self-motivated.
• Knowledge of accounting principles is helpful; invoicing and business acumen beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with warehouse teams and Project Managers to verify inventory status.
• Audit storage data daily against tickets and records.
• Assist in job cost tracking by reconciling PO numbers and barcodes.
• Log final equipment locations and maintain traceability.
• Prepare invoice backup packets for key accounts during month-end billing.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
