Job summary

MEI seeks a Project Coordinator in Houston to support Project Managers and Accounting Supervisors in large-scale storage, transportation, and rigging projects. You will maintain inventory, assist invoicing, manage repair timelines, and drive data quality across systems.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and teamwork, with a focus on accuracy and timely documentation across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, project management or related field preferred.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a Project Coordinator in logistics/ supply chain, construction, rigging, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with equipment tracking management and equipment inventory recordkeeping.
• Intermediate computer skills using a Windows-based system.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiar with CRM software or PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with warehouse/storage teams and Project Managers to verify inventory status and readiness for delivery.
• Ensure storage data accuracy through daily system audits and cross-checks against records.
• Assist in job cost tracking by reconciling PO numbers, serial numbers, barcodes, and identifiers.
• Log final equipment setting locations and maintain traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support customer requests with documentation, photos, and real-time inventory updates.
• Prepare detailed invoice backup packets for key accounts, especially during month-end billing.
