Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Planning Analyst for the 3rd shift in Lafayette, IN. You will support the Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) with problem solving and continuous improvement across the Large Engine Center operations.

Lead value stream projects, analyze data and trends, and drive sustainable corrective actions. You will collaborate with Section Managers and teams to ensure readiness for transitions and optimal customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of analytical techniques and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to identify and implement corrective actions to improve operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead value stream improvement initiatives focused on PQVC and customer satisfaction.
• Identify recurring challenges and partner with Managers to develop corrective actions.
• Use data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and benefits.
• Support Lean initiatives and project implementations across shifts.
• Monitor impact of solutions and sustain benefits over time.
• Coordinate with support groups and operations for future state initiatives.
