Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Fort Worth, TX to lead a team of drivers and hourly staff, ensuring daily tasks meet our service and cost objectives. The role includes coaching, performance management, and involvement in hiring.

The shift runs Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm with peak-season flexibility. You will drive process improvements and ensure safe, compliant operations across dispatch, loading, and customer service functions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze problems and make independent decisions.
• Experience driving process improvement and change.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and hourly staff at a single location.
• Direct daily operations including deliveries, loading/unloading and customer service.
• Manage performance, coaching, and corrective actions.
• Assist in hiring and participate in customer meetings.
• Maintain records and reports; ensure safety and compliance.
• Schedule and coordinate fleet and staff to meet productivity targets.
