Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Chester, USA is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a 12-hour rotating shift. You will supervise inbound/outbound activities, handle labor scheduling, space utilization and customer communications daily.

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, you will ensure safe, efficient warehousing and shipping aligned with cost objectives. The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years in logistics, and 1 year supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound, outbound, and warehouse operations, including labor scheduling and space utilization.
• Plan and assign daily work, conduct performance appraisals, and address issues to meet service and cost objectives.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines while maintaining client KPI targets and quality standards.
• Train and develop warehouse staff; participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
