Job summary

RXO Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Naperville, IL to oversee daily transportation operations, manage supplier performance, and resolve issues to meet customer expectations.

You will coordinate Load Planners, dispatch drivers, and ensure smooth dock operations while driving continuous improvement and Lean initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, 5 years in logistics, and a Bachelor’s degree; Oracle TMS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in transportation or logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), preferably Oracle TMS.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills; ability to supervise and coach teams.
• Willingness to work cross-functionally on multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

• Review available freight for linehaul routes to maintain lowest cost options.
• Coordinate Load Planners and dockworkers to build routes and dispatch fleet.
• Investigate and resolve issues affecting performance, morale, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs and increase performance; apply Lean concepts.
