Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Naperville, IL to oversee daily transportation operations and supplier performance.

You will resolve transport, communication, and customer service issues to meet customer expectations, while leading teams and driving efficiency. The role involves reviewing freight options, coordinating Load Planners and drivers, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in transportation or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Review freight for linehauls to minimize cost within a private fleet.
• Coordinate with Load Planners, dispatchers, and dockworkers to optimize routes.
• Investigate and resolve issues affecting performance, morale, or customer satisfaction.
• Apply lean concepts to lower costs and improve overall performance.
• Schedule daily workload based on customer input and supplier disputes.
• Monitor supplier disputes and on-time shipping performance data.
• Document delivery performance and analyze root causes of delays.
• Oversee hiring, training, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain a safe, harassment-free work environment and report issues.
