Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor Logistics to supervise, coordinate, and oversee daily logistics operations while coaching and developing staff to meet performance standards. The role requires collaboration with the Logistics Manager to optimize processes and ensure customer service quality.

A focus on safety, team engagement, and continuous improvement is essential. The successful candidate will lead scheduling, KPI tracking, and process enhancements in a dynamic distribution

Qualifications

H.S. diploma/GED required.
1+ year experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
0–1 year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
DOT Regulated No.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day logistics operations.
Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet standards and customer specifications.
Establish work schedules and coordinate activities of workers to ensure optimal shift performance.
Accountable for site KPI and monitoring progress toward objectives.
Coach, counsel and recognize team and individual performance; foster diversity and inclusion.
