Job summary

Crane Cartage LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to monitor shipments from pickup through delivery and keep clients informed of status. You will enter location, date and time into the TMS and contact carriers to determine driver location.

A high school diploma or GED is required (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Strong communication, problem-solving and Excel skills, plus the ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment, are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shipment status from pickup to delivery.
• Enter shipment location, date and time into the TMS.
• Contact carriers and drivers to determine driver location.
• Escalate service failures to Carrier Sales and Business Development.
• Work with Account Managers and Carrier Sales Representatives to meet service levels and keep clients informed.
