Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage customer inventory, receipts, put away and shipping for a specific client. You will dispatch drivers, respond to calls, and direct activities to ensure timely pickup and delivery.

You will also update the dispatch database, monitor DOT compliance, incentives and KPIs, and create invoices. Responsibilities include training staff and coordinating with other departments on operational improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Four years industry experience required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Ability to train and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer inventory, receipts, put away and shipping for a client.
• Dispatch drivers and respond to driver calls; assign and direct activities.
• Notify drivers of assignments and ensure cargo pickup/delivery.
• Update dispatch database with moves.
• Monitor DOT compliance and safety requirements.
• Monitor performance against KPIs.
• Create and send invoices.
• Coordinate with other departments.
• Respond to and solve production problems.
• Train employees on job duties.
• Suggest process improvements and take initiative.
• Communicate with clients, vendors and employees daily.
• Assist Operations Manager with planning and budget processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
