Job summary

CEVA Logistics in the United States (East Liberty, OH) is hiring for an entry-level inbound/outbound shipments role. You will prepare, track, and maintain essential shipment documentation while delivering outstanding customer service and coordinating transportation space across flights, freight, and other modes.

You will review and complete documentation to ensure on-time processing, communicate with carriers and customers, and support the release process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; less than one year related experience preferred.
• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job-specific software; accurate typing and data-entry skills.
• Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs; identifies and resolves problems; follows policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers; advise of shipment details and provide quotations.
• Oversee shipment transportation by arranging, booking, and confirming space on flights, freight, cargo, and other transportation methods.
• Complete documentation for receipt of shipments or review documentation to correctly process shipments.
• Process documents through the appropriate system in a timely manner to ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Secure necessary documentation when information is incomplete; may involve initial reviews.
• Trace transaction information (HBL, commercial invoices, and other documents) to determine status; create tracking files to initiate clearance.
• Follow-up with carriers, manage pre-alerts daily, and maintain communications records.
• Assist in coordination and communication of release to carrier or customer.
